Caravan Agafay launched by Habitas

The eco-hospitality group’s latest establishment will launch in autumn 2022 and will constitute Habitas’ second property in Africa. It is the first of four properties set to open in the North African country.

Caravan Agafay is set to be an immersive glamping experience with 20 canvas wall tents spread across a 5-hectare site. It will also feature a gourmet restaurant serving fresh and local fare, two swimming pools, a stable for horses and camels, an outdoor cinema, a yoga/wellness centre and a communal area.

Located 45 minutes from the centre of Marrakech and from the city’s airport, Caravan Agafay will allow its guests to enjoy desert leisure pursuits such as horseback riding, camel trekking, desert survival skills and stargazing as well as music experiences and yoga. Visits to local Amazigh communities are also provided by Habitas RISE to raise awareness amongst guests.
